DISMUI 3.0 Download
DISMUI 3.0 is the legacy version for systems with only .NET 2.0 installed. Note: DISMUI 3.0 will no longer be upgraded — new features are only added to the current version.
DISMUI v3.0.3 available – Support for Windows Embedded Standard 8 CTP3 and removing modules
DISMUI v3.0.3 extends CTP3 support by enabling module removal at any time – something the built-in DISM command cannot do. It safely checks for dependencies before removing packages.

Using DISMUI to add or remove features from POSReady 7
DISMUI can be used as an easy-to-use graphical replacement for DISM in POSReady 7, handling dependencies, conflicts, and minimum image requirements automatically.
DISMUI 1.4.1 released – Fixes for Windows Embedded POSReady 7 CTP2
DISMUI 1.4.1 fixes compatibility issues with the CTP2 of Windows Embedded POSReady 7, including Distribution Share handling and Conflict Dialog behavior.

DISMUI v1.4 introduces a Show Dependencies feature to display all dependencies of a selected Feature Package, plus POSReady 7 CTP Distribution Share support and additional bug fixes.
Using DISMUI with POSReady 7 CTP
DISMUI works with the Windows Embedded POSReady 7 CTP, but requires two manual preparation steps: creating a proper Distribution Share folder structure and removing the conflicting Windows Boot Environment component.
Portable DISMUI and/or DISMUI without .NET Framework
DISMUI needs the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installed, which is not portable. The Mono Framework — an Open Source implementation of .NET — is portable and DISMUI runs on it too.
DISMUI v1.3 Update Available
The DISMUI Tool has been updated with new features including permanent packages support, advanced dependency check, and automatic Distribution Share detection.
WES7 Tool – DISMUI v1.2 – Driver Installation added
DISMUI v1.2 now supports adding device drivers for all devices found in the distribution share.
